Strategy Consultant – Operations & Supply Chain

About the role

As an Operations & Supply Chain Strategy Consultant you will join IBM Consulting’s Client Innovation Center to help global clients boost operational resilience, cut costs and drive innovation. You will leverage IBM’s strategy, design, data analytics, cognitive computing and technology platforms to deliver high‑impact transformation programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of supply chain strategies, network optimisation and resilience planning.
• Develop procurement and sourcing strategies to reduce costs and strengthen supplier relationships.
• Optimise end‑to‑end operations including manufacturing, logistics and distribution.
• Apply data analytics to identify bottlenecks and improve performance.
• Facilitate executive‑level workshops and support business development activities.

Required profile

• Extensive consulting experience in operations and supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics and distribution.
• Proven track record of process improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and willingness to work in Switzerland.
