Strategy & Corporate Development Manager

About the role

As a member of Avaloq's Strategy & Corporate Development team, you will shape the company's long‑term direction and drive key corporate initiatives. Working closely with the executive leadership team and senior business leaders, you will define strategic priorities, evaluate growth opportunities and support major business and investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the development of Avaloq's corporate strategy and translate priorities into actionable initiatives.
• Lead strategic analyses, business cases and executive recommendations on growth, transformation and performance improvement.
• Serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders across sales, delivery, service operations, technology, finance and other functions.
• Prepare Board and Executive Leadership materials and support strategic decision‑making processes.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in top‑tier management consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development or private equity.
• Deep understanding of banking, fintech, B2B software or technology‑enabled business models.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including financial modelling and business case development.
• Proven ability to structure complex topics into clear recommendations and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German or Italian a plus.
