Supply Chain Coordinator – Global Operations

About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator will support GC International’s global supply chain from the headquarters in Lucerne. Reporting to the Supply Chain team, the role ensures smooth order processing, logistics coordination and data flow between factories, suppliers and internal sales organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end order processing between customers and vendors.
• Manage purchase orders, invoices and credit notes within and outside SAP.
• Monitor shipping schedules and ensure timely delivery execution.
• Track and resolve IDOC errors and support SAP‑related issue handling.
• Act as a liaison between vendors, customers and internal departments.
• Coordinate forecast alignment (net requirements) between stakeholders.
• Participate in planning, quality and production meetings.
• Maintain product and material master data in SAP.
• Create and analyse reports on inventory, backorders, KPIs, sales and purchases.
• Support monthly reconciliations with the accounting team.
• Assist the SAP S/4HANA rollout and process standardisation across affiliates.
• Contribute to Kaizen and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
