Supply Chain Manager

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Supply Chain Manager to join Ascento’s production team in Zurich. The role combines supplier relationship management, inventory control, and logistics coordination to support our fast‑growing robotics security business.

Key responsibilities

• Order parts from suppliers, build and maintain strong relationships, and visit factories to assess quality.
• Improve inventory and forecast tracking tools while keeping assembly and repair workflows uninterrupted.
• Own the warehouse: organise storage, coordinate large deliveries, and implement quality checks on incoming parts.
• Manage robot logistics, including packing, shipping and replenishment of assembly stations.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in supply chain, stakeholder or project management.
• Fluent in English and Chinese to communicate with Chinese suppliers.
• Technical background in mechanics or manufacturing is a plus.
• Hands‑on, multidisciplinary attitude with the ability to visit factories, count parts and optimise software flows.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with production software.
• Proficiency in inventory tracking software.
