Supply Chain Network Planner – Automotive

About the role

As a Supply Chain Network Planner for the automotive business unit, you will design and execute production plans that meet customer service levels while supporting Novelis' sustainability mission. You will work from our European headquarters in Küsnacht, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure efficient metal flow across the supply‑chain network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans that satisfy defined service levels.
• Maintain the replenishment strategy at target stock levels using statistical analysis.
• Optimize delivery costs while preserving service quality.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy and understand market needs.
• Orchestrate metal flow across the network, balancing capacity, inventory and cost targets.
• Design and operate scenario‑modeling tools to evaluate supply‑chain outcomes.

Required profile

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Industrial Engineering.
• Initial experience in supply‑chain or operations management.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem‑solving skills.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication in English; German or French is a plus.

Required skills

• SAP modules (PDPS, APO DP).
• PowerBI or Tableau for data visualization.
• Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts.
• Programming knowledge in Python and/or C++.
