Supply Chain Network Planning Manager

About the role

A global FMCG player is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Network Planning Manager through EMEA Recruitment. The role drives tactical supply chain planning across multiple international regions, develops planning scenarios, optimises material requirements and supports strategic decisions. It is fully on-site in Zug, Switzerland, with international travel of about one week every two months.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tactical supply chain network planning across several international regions, managing planning scenarios over an 18-month horizon.
• Analyse production capacity, material requirements, inventory levels and supply constraints across a complex global manufacturing network.
• Develop and evaluate planning scenarios using advanced planning systems to support supply chain optimisation and key business decisions.
• Work with regional supply planning teams and procurement to align raw materials, primary and secondary packaging requirements and sourcing strategies.
• Establish, assess and improve planning standards, processes and capabilities across regions.
• Partner with senior stakeholders in supply chain operations to influence decisions and improve planning maturity.

Required profile

• Strong experience in supply chain planning, including material planning, especially primary and secondary packaging materials.
• Experience across multiple manufacturing sites, ideally in a complex international or global supply chain network.
• Experience in a mature planning environment covering production, material, distribution and inventory planning.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and work in international teams.

Required skills

• Advanced supply chain planning systems and scenario development.
• Project management experience and knowledge of planning platforms such as o9 Solutions are advantageous.
