Supply Chain & Procurement Manager

About the role

Adaptyv is building an automated laboratory that enables AI agents to run biology experiments at scale. As the first dedicated supply chain hire, you will own the end‑to‑end procurement process that fuels the lab’s rapid throughput, ensuring that every reagent, consumable and equipment component is sourced reliably and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle: requisitions, purchase orders, receipt, vendor onboarding and payment.
• Identify and qualify secondary suppliers for critical items to reduce single‑source risk.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with existing and new vendors.
• Collaborate with scientists to understand assay‑specific material needs and forecast demand.
• Develop and maintain inventory plans that align with the lab’s scaling objectives.
• Implement processes and metrics to monitor supplier performance and supply‑chain resilience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or supply‑chain management, preferably in a fast‑moving, high‑tech environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess risk and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable working hands‑on in a laboratory or manufacturing setting.
