System Administrator (Remote, Switzerland)

About the role

We are seeking a technically skilled System Administrator to join our partner’s IT team. Based in Switzerland and working remotely, you will support a global workforce by ensuring that devices, software, networks and security solutions operate reliably and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support across Windows, macOS and Linux environments.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot workstations, peripherals and IT equipment.
• Manage technical requests using ticketing systems such as Jira.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity and network issues.
• Oversee device lifecycle management including inventory, deployment and replacement.
• Configure and maintain security solutions (VPN, antivirus, MDM, backup systems, firewalls, monitoring tools).
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security standards.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures and knowledge bases.
• Support network administration tasks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
• Contribute to automation, scripting and process‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar technical support role.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive attitude.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with security tools and ticketing systems.
