System Engineer - AD (Consultant)

About the role

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing Microsoft and Citrix based infrastructures for a fast‑growing private bank. The role ensures high availability, performance and security of critical IT services in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, PKI, DFS and MS Teams.
• Troubleshoot AD replication, DNS issues and Group Policy Objects, and enforce security policies.
• Integrate AD with Office 365, Azure AD and third‑party applications.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation, reporting and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Set up and manage Root and Intermediate Certificate Authorities.
• Design, implement and support Citrix environments.
• Provide production support, incident resolution and problem management for Microsoft services.
• Implement system monitoring (SCOM, NIMSOFT) and conduct root‑cause analysis for major incidents.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in Microsoft infrastructure (AD, DHCP, SCOM) and PKI management.
• Hands‑on experience with SCCM, Exchange 2019 and PowerShell scripting.
• Ability to work in a regulated banking environment and follow security compliance.
• Willingness to be on‑call one week per month.
