Talent Acquisition Specialist – Engineering & Life Sciences

About the role

Techfirm Engineering is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support its growing engineering and Life Sciences projects in Basel. You will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, ensuring a seamless recruitment experience from initial contact to offer.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for engineering, quality, regulatory, validation, data and Life Sciences roles.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate hiring needs into effective sourcing strategies.
• Source, engage and assess candidates through direct outreach, networking, referrals and recruitment platforms.
• Build and maintain talent pools within the Basel Life Sciences and engineering ecosystem.
• Conduct interviews, evaluate motivation and fit, and support hiring decisions.
• Ensure a professional, engaging candidate experience throughout the process.
• Contribute to employer branding and market visibility initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, salary expectations and competitor activity.
• Support recruitment reporting, pipeline tracking and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with a strong interest in technical projects and people interaction.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Basel.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a strong advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude.
