Talent Lead

About the role

Adaptyv is scaling its automated lab platform and needs a senior talent leader to own the end‑to‑end hiring function. The role is based in Lausanne and will work directly with the founders to define hiring strategy across biology, engineering, software and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define hiring needs with each team, write and post job descriptions, build pipelines and close candidates.
• Build and lead a recruiting team, initially hiring a technical recruiter and later expanding as the company grows.
• Own the inbound applicant flow, ensuring strong candidates are not lost in the pile.
• Design and run paid work‑trial programs to evaluate candidates in real lab contexts.
• Maintain and improve the Ashby ATS, integrating AI‑driven scoring and automated communications.

Required profile

• Several years of experience hiring technical talent in a high‑growth environment.
• Ability to converse fluently with both scientists and engineers and assess their expertise.
• Self‑starter with high autonomy; will identify and fix broken hiring processes without a pre‑defined requisition list.
• Passion for the company’s mission and long‑term commitment to building an excellent organization.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI‑assisted recruiting tools such as Claude Code and Ashby.
• Experience scripting or automating recruiting workflows.
