Tax Accounting (Senior) Manager

About the role

PwC's tax services advise clients on tax planning, compliance and strategy, and its international tax specialists help businesses structure their global tax positions. This Senior Tax Accounting Manager joins the growing tax accounting team in Zurich, working on accounting standards and international tax issues, with occasional deployment to other locations in Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Support customers on tax accounting matters across accounting standards such as IFRS and US GAAP, including client provision processes
• Support assurance teams with procedures for income tax-related positions
• Support engagement teams on Pillar 2 questions, including calculations and technical assessments
• Contribute to external publications and help develop internal training materials and newsletters
• Work in a dynamic, international team with lots to learn

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or similar in economics, finance, accounting or a related field
• Training in accounting and/or taxes, with at least 5 years of professional experience in auditing, financial accounting or tax consulting
• Fluent English; another language is an asset
• Able to take responsibility from the start and adapt quickly to change
