Team Head – Tax Reporting & Reconciliation

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a Team Head to lead the Tax Reporting and Reconciliation Data Services function within Global Operations Services. You will be responsible for driving daily tax reporting and reconciliation processes while steering continuous improvement through automation, process engineering and control solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate the team vision, manage capacity and develop a training plan for 14+ team members.
• Oversee daily data‑quality controls and data‑cleansing activities, ensuring completeness and proper resource allocation.
• Design and execute a transformation roadmap that includes automation, process re‑engineering and monitoring solutions.
• Establish frameworks for selecting appropriate capabilities, tools and integration options, guaranteeing reusability and documentation.
• Promote skill development within the team to enhance business‑as‑usual quality and support transformation projects.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and coaching experience, preferably in a banking operations environment.
• Several years of experience managing or delivering banking operations processes.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to resolve complex problems.
• University degree in Business, Finance, Data Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
