Team Lead Finance & Administration

About the role

A global software vendor protecting banks against financial crime across more than 80 countries is moving its entire finance operation onto a new ERP platform and needs someone to own the transition from the inside. The outgoing incumbent grew into the role from an apprenticeship and has now moved into a CFO position elsewhere. The new Team Lead will run the operational side of finance for the group, lead a small finance and admin team based in Fribourg and work closely with the CFO on reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full finance operations process, from posting entries to coordinating the annual close and liaising with subsidiary bookkeepers abroad
• Run project administration for major client accounts end to end, including licensing, invoicing and revenue recognition support
• Take ownership of the group's move to its new ERP system: define how processes work in the new tool and bring the wider team up to speed as it goes live
• Lead a small, established team and stay hands-on with the day-to-day work

Required profile

• Solid grounding in Swiss bookkeeping and VAT, built through a commercial apprenticeship or equivalent, backed by several years of real operational experience
• Project mindset: able to take something from a standing start to delivery, alone or with the help of others
• Based in or near Fribourg and able to work 4 days a week, since much of the job happens in the office
• English is a must; German and French are strong positives given the international collaboration

• Hands-on experience working inside an ERP system day to day; having been through an implementation or transition is a plus
