Team Lead Supply Chain – EU Hub Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Team Lead Supply Chain to drive the transformation of our EU‑Hub logistics operations in Nänikon‑Greifensee. The role will ensure reliable end‑to‑end supply chain management, strengthen 3PL partnerships and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure reliable end‑to‑end SCM operations and consistently meet customer service standards at the 3PL interface.
• Act as the first point of contact for SCM issues, providing hands‑on troubleshooting and rapid resolution.
• Coordinate escalated 2nd‑ and 3rd‑level support topics with the wider MT global network.
• Manage the operational relationship with the 3PL, ensuring accountability to agreed SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards.
• Drive the EU‑Hub transformation through automation, digitalisation and process re‑engineering.
• Analyze logistics and supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and improve productivity, throughput, and accuracy.
• Apply Lean, 5S, structured root‑cause analysis and CAPA/8D problem‑solving to eliminate waste and improve performance.
• Define, monitor, and act on KPIs to support data‑driven decision‑making and performance improvement.
• Partner with the 3PL and internal stakeholders to implement sustainable, scalable improvement initiatives across the EU‑Hub.
• Develop and maintain SCM standards, ensure global process alignment, and lead continuous improvement and capability‑building efforts.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience in logistics, supply chain or warehouse operations, including at least 2 years in a team‑leadership role.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP and Lean methodologies.
• Knowledge of the 8D problem‑solving process and agile management methods is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, change‑oriented approach and proven ability to inspire teams and deliver results.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
