Team Leader CNC Milling / Frezer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller/Frezer to lead a team of skilled CNC professionals in a high‑precision manufacturing environment. This hands‑on leadership role combines technical expertise with day‑to‑day coordination to ensure safe, efficient production that meets quality and delivery standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and support the CNC milling team during daily production activities, planning work based on priorities and capacity.
• Monitor production progress, address quality or output deviations, and provide technical support for machining issues.
• Ensure components are manufactured according to drawings, tolerances and quality requirements, and support machine setup and optimization.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality and Planning to resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Identify bottlenecks, drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, and support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coach team members, oversee onboarding and training, and promote a culture of ownership and teamwork.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience as a CNC Miller, Frezer or Machinist, preferably in a high‑tech environment.
• Previous coordinating, supervisory or team‑leader experience, or the ambition to step into such a role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC milling processes, GD&T, tolerances and high‑precision component manufacturing.
• Excellent communication, people‑management skills and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
