Head of Product Security

About the role

The Head of Product Security ensures the cybersecurity of Liebherr products and digital services throughout their lifecycle, defining strategy and embedding security‑by‑design across engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead global product security strategy, roadmap and execution for construction machines and digital products.
• Establish product security controls such as secure coding, vulnerability management and incident response based on threat modelling.
• Act as central focal point for product security within Corporate Information Security and for internal/external customers.
• Define governance framework (policies, standards, controls) and ensure adoption in R&D and product lifecycle processes.
• Build, mentor and lead a team of product security experts and foster collaboration with engineering.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years of product or embedded cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in embedded systems, connected products or industrial/IoT security.
• Fluent English; German and French are a plus.
