Technical Allrounder – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

A full-time, non-management Technical Allrounder position at a Marriott hotel in Zurich (Neumuehlequai 42). The role covers monitoring of technical installations and alarm systems, on-call support for faults and repairs, and close cooperation with housekeeping and other departments. It suits someone with vocational training in a skilled trade and some experience in a hotel chain.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all technical installations and alarm systems
• Provide on-call service for technical malfunctions and repairs as far as possible
• Monitor the parking garage
• Negotiate with suppliers, service providers and external companies, and request them for fault repairs
• Cooperate with external craftsmen, engineering staff, housekeeping and all departments
• Support catering with technical installation
• Relay information about the house to staff, department heads and supervisors
• Take part in relevant meetings and trainings

Required profile

• Vocational training in a skilled trade
• Some experience in a hotel chain or similar business
• Good command of German and English
• Team player, reliable, punctual and able to handle pressure
• Careful, organised and quality-oriented
