Technical employee (Technischer Mitarbeiter)

About the role

Join CARBAGAS AG, part of the Air Liquide Group, to operate and maintain industrial gas production facilities in Münchwilen. You will work on acetylene production, hydrogen supply, and gas centre monitoring while supporting other plants as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all industrial operations in the primary production plant following standard operating and maintenance procedures.
• Operate acetylene production and filling processes at the Münchwilen site.
• Carry out revision and maintenance tasks on production equipment.
• Manage hydrogen supply systems and monitor the gas centre.
• Provide on‑call (pikettdienst) support for the plant and remote pipelines, including weekend assignments (approximately 14‑16 weeks per year).
• Assist in other production and filling plants when required.

Required profile

• Basic training as a mechanic or electrician.
• Several years of experience in maintenance or working on production plants.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong technical understanding and solid IT knowledge.
• Driving licence category B.
• Native German speaker; French and English language skills are advantageous.
• Flexible, team‑oriented personality.

Required skills
