Technical Employee (Technischer Mitarbeiter)

About the role

Join CARBAGAS AG, part of the Air Liquide Group, to operate and maintain industrial processes in the Primary Production plant. You will work on acetylene production, hydrogen supply, and gas centre monitoring, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all industrial operations in compliance with standard operating and maintenance procedures.
• Operate acetylene production and filling lines at the Münchwilen plant.
• Carry out revision and maintenance tasks, including forklift operations.
• Monitor hydrogen supply and the gas centre.
• Provide on‑call (pikettdienst) support for the plant and remote pipelines, approximately 14‑16 weeks per year, including weekend availability.

Required profile

• Basic training as a mechanic or electrician.
• Several years of experience in maintenance or production plant work.
• Forklift certification is advantageous.
• Strong technical understanding and solid computer (EDV) skills.
• Valid Category B driver’s licence.
• Native German speaker; French and English knowledge are a plus.
• Flexible, team‑oriented personality.
