Technical Product Manager

About the role

The Technical Product Manager will be the primary point of contact for Global Customer Support (GCS) capabilities within Lab Insights. Working closely with Support and Training chapters, you will co‑develop product support, provide global documentation and partner with Customer Areas and Life‑Cycle Teams to meet network priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Act as GCS Project Leader accountable for all support and service deliverables in new product development projects, upgrades, and updates.
• Lead the entire product life‑cycle end‑to‑end from a support and service perspective, from initial development to on‑market deployment.
• Coordinate with Chapters to aggregate upcoming Life‑Cycle Team needs, advance network priorities, make trade‑offs and break down silos.
• Lead and empower a small Product Support & Training Squad under the guiding principle “We all lead.”
• Act as a role model for Agile Leadership behaviors and foster the defined culture, mindset and behaviors.
• Play a key role in crafting and implementing mid‑ to long‑term strategy for GCS Roche Information Solutions.
• Undertake international business travel as required to support global matrix operations.

Required profile

• An advanced degree in IT or a related field; background in software product support, training or diagnostics is a plus.
• Proven thought leader with deep knowledge in support/training and a track record in project management or project leadership positions.
• High degree of subject‑matter expertise with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and intercultural skills, thriving in global matrix structures.
