Technical Purchaser (all genders)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Purchaser to join our office in Chur, Switzerland, as soon as possible. You will manage day‑to‑day procurement for our cruise operations, supporting both nautical and technical departments.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase materials and services for the nautical and technical operations of all vessels.
• Support internal procurement controlling, maintain master data and contribute to projects.
• Verify incoming invoices, check their accuracy and assign them to the appropriate accounts.
• Handle payment reminders and provide cover for colleagues during annual leave.
• Maintain and update vessel documentation in the fleet management system.
• Monitor vessel certificate expiry dates and support the technical department in recording technical and nautical data.
• Assist with scheduling technical personnel on board.
• Support development of the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the fleet.
• Be willing to travel for business and work closely with nautical and technical departments.

Required profile

• Completed commercial or technical vocational training, ideally with a focus on procurement or supply chain management.
• Professional experience in operational procurement, preferably in the maritime industry.
• Strong communication skills in German and English; French language skills would be an advantage.
• Good IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
• A meticulous and structured approach to work, combined with a strong sense of responsibility.
• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to work closely with different departments.
