Technical Support Engineer

About the role

This is the first support position at Cerrion, where you will build the support function from the ground up. You will be the primary technical contact for customers, troubleshooting issues and ensuring the AI‑enabled manufacturing platform runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers’ technical issues, collaborating closely with the Customer Success team.
• Investigate and resolve problems, especially those related to networking and remote hardware infrastructure.
• Monitor on‑premises and cloud systems to maintain optimal performance.
• Develop automation to accelerate support processes and proactively address recurring issues.
• Define, track, and own support metrics for the organization.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of computer networks and security.
• Strong Linux and Docker experience, with the ability to write and understand Python scripts.
• Excellent customer‑facing communication skills in English; German or other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to work in Zurich, with a hybrid presence (office and remote).
• Builder mindset: proactive problem‑solving and continuous learning.
