Technology & Testing Lab Support

About the role

A renowned institute in Basel, known for its work in medicine and implantology and for providing oral healthcare products and services, is looking for a motivated person to join its team immediately or by mutual agreement. The role supports the preparation and execution of mechanical and material tests in the Metal Testing Laboratory and other testing labs, contributing to reliable laboratory workflows through careful sample handling, test support and accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of samples and materials
• Support the execution of mechanical and material tests in the laboratory and carry out signed tests independently after appropriate training
• Support dental laboratory workflows
• Assist with post-test handling of samples and complete related documentation and test records

Required profile

• Completed technical vocational training, laboratory vocational training or dental technician training
• Good manual skills, able to perform very precise and delicate operations
• Good English; German is a plus
• Experience in a dental laboratory, medical device/dental industry, testing equipment or testing machine use is a plus
