Trade Marketing Director

About the role

The Trade Marketing Director defines and leads the EMEA trade marketing strategy for the wholesale channel, aligning brand positioning with commercial objectives and regional market needs. This role bridges Sales, Marketing, Merchandising and external partners to ensure consistent brand expression and commercial impact.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement trade marketing strategy for wholesale, translating brand and business objectives into actionable plans.
• Lead seasonal trade marketing planning, including campaigns, product launches and commercial initiatives.
• Support visual merchandising strategy for wholesale partners, ensuring brand consistency while adapting to local markets.
• Develop and monitor KPIs (sell‑out, ROI, brand visibility) to measure effectiveness of trade marketing and visual merchandising.
• Collaborate with Sales to support sell‑in and sell‑out strategies, creating compelling selling tools.
• Oversee development and distribution of POP materials and marketing tools, ensuring quality, cost‑efficiency and timely delivery.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and manage relationships with external agencies, vendors and partners.
• Ensure alignment across regions, foster best practices and lead the trade marketing team.

Required profile

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing or related roles, preferably in fashion or lifestyle brands.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing cross‑functional projects.
• Strong understanding of wholesale dynamics, visual merchandising and brand positioning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
