Trade Promotion Intern

About the role

The Trade Promotion Intern will support the Office for Asia and the Pacific (OAP) in coordinating and communicating trade‑related technical assistance projects, including initiatives on Belt and Road trade promotion, digital innovation for African SMEs, and sustainable trade development in Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on regional economic trends, trade development, and SME competitiveness.
• Assist in preparing project documents such as reports, workplans, promotional materials, and web articles.
• Support the organization and coordination of meetings, trainings, and events.
• Help select direct project beneficiaries, including MSMEs.
• Collect data, monitor progress, and contribute to reporting on project implementation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution of project activities.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a relevant university program.
• Strong interest in international trade, development, and SME support.
• Excellent research, analytical, and written communication skills.
