About the role
The Training & Education Manager – Medical Education & Clinical Engagement will translate scientific and clinical knowledge into practical training and education for healthcare professionals and affiliates. Working closely with the Medical Director and cross‑functional teams, you will ensure consistent, evidence‑based application of our diabetes technologies across markets.
Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation of global Training & Education and Medical Education activities across affiliates and markets.
- Develop, review and maintain high‑quality medical‑scientific training materials, onboarding content, FAQs and educational tools.
- Coordinate training rollouts, workshops, webinars and train‑the‑trainer programmes.
- Assist affiliates in applying centrally developed education and clinical guidance, identifying recurring training needs.
- Plan, prepare and follow up on Medical Advisory Boards and expert steering committees, including agendas and briefing materials.
- Contribute to scientific symposia and congress‑related Medical Education activities, supporting speaker preparation and knowledge transfer.
- Prepare and review medical‑scientific content related to product understanding, clinical positioning and safe product use.
- Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Regulatory, Commercial, Marketing and local affiliates to ensure clear, consistent Medical Education.
Required profile
- University degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, nursing, diabetes education, biomedical engineering or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Education, Clinical Education, Training & Education or related functions.
- Strong background in diabetes, diabetes technology, CGM, insulin pump therapy or medical devices.
- Proven ability to develop high‑quality training materials, workshops, webinars and other education formats.
- Experience working with healthcare professionals, KOLs, affiliates and cross‑functional internal stakeholders.
- Excellent scientific writing, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills with a structured, reliable working style.
- Comfortable operating in an international matrix environment and collaborating across multiple functions.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (German, French or Italian) are advantageous.
