Training Program Manager

About the role

SR Technics is seeking a Training Program Manager to lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of competency‑based training programs for its Engine MRO operations at Zurich Airport. You will ensure regulatory compliance, audit readiness and workforce readiness across technical roles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve qualification programs that address capability gaps for technical staff.
• Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of training programs, ensuring quality, consistency, timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Lead planning and delivery of classroom, practical, digital and on‑the‑job training initiatives.
• Oversee training administration, resource planning, workload management and development of the training team.
• Standardise, digitalise and optimise training processes, systems and learning solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, Engineering, Aviation or related field.
• 5‑10 years of experience in aviation MRO, technical training, learning & development or program management.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Fluent English (C1); German (B1) is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements (EASA Part‑145, FAA, OEM standards).
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and competency frameworks.
• Training governance and audit readiness.
