Transformation Manager (Digital Business Transformation)

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for a Transformation Manager to join its Digital Business Transformation team in Zurich. You will drive and support the delivery of strategic transformation initiatives across the organisation, taking ownership of defined workstreams and projects while contributing to broader transformation programmes. The role works closely with business and technology stakeholders to structure and implement initiatives that improve efficiency, simplify operating models and strengthen organisational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Support and drive strategic transformation initiatives from planning through implementation and benefit realisation
• Analyse complex business challenges and develop practical recommendations to improve processes, operating models and organisational effectiveness
• Turn strategic objectives into project plans, workstreams, milestones and resource requirements
• Manage project governance, including status reporting, risk and issue management, dependency tracking and decision preparation
• Coordinate activities across business and technology teams and monitor progress, proposing mitigation actions for delivery risks
• Prepare presentations, business cases and executive updates for management and steering committees
• Collaborate across locations and functions to ensure alignment and delivery excellence

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline
• Relevant experience in transformation, consulting, project management or operations improvement within financial services or similar complex environments
• Experience supporting or leading project workstreams, including planning, coordination, execution and stakeholder management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse business processes, operating models or organisational structures
• Fluency in English; German is an advantage
