Travel Sourcing Specialist (Interim)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Sourcing Specialist to join a global organization on an interim basis. You will own the sourcing activities for travel categories, including air travel, ground transportation, short‑term rentals, and accommodation, supporting both existing client accounts and new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Run tenders across key travel categories such as hotels, air travel, ground transport, and accommodation.
• Bundle and negotiate pricing with travel suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Manage supplier relationships with airlines, travel agencies, and accommodation providers.
• Support new client proposals and ongoing account management.
• Ensure continuity of sourcing activities throughout the interim period.

Required profile

• Proven experience in travel category sourcing or procurement.
• Strong knowledge of the European travel market, including airlines, hotel chains, and travel management companies.
• Ability to work across multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Fluent German is a strong advantage.
• Available at short notice.
