About the role

Lombard Odier, a global wealth and asset manager with a strong focus on sustainable investing, is hiring a Treasury Officer within its Treasury Department. The officer manages the bank's day-to-day liquidity, optimizes Nostro balances, executes money market transactions, handles fiduciary placements and funds liquidity requirements, and helps define and price cash management products. The role sits in a small team of 4 to 5 people.

Key responsibilities

• Liquidity management: monitor daily liquidity across currencies, manage Nostro balances, produce liquidity forecasts and comply with liquidity limits
• Nostro account management: monitor positions, coordinate investigations with correspondent banks and assess banking counterparties
• Investments and funding: execute money market investments and borrowings, negotiate terms and fund liquidity needs
• Fiduciary placements: execute placements on behalf of clients and support the development of the offering
• Cash and deposit product pricing: set account remuneration grids and interest rates, run profitability and margin analyses
• Risk management: monitor counterparty exposures and credit limits, and help manage interest rate risk

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or Swiss Federal VET Diploma (CFC) in Finance, Banking, Economics or a related field
• ACI Dealing Certificate or similar is an asset
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a banking treasury function, including money markets, fiduciary placements and liquidity management
• Good understanding of the Swiss banking environment
• Fluency in spoken and written French and English; German is an advantage
• Must reside in Switzerland or be in the process of relocating there
