UPS Repair Center Manager – Europe

About the role

ABB is seeking a UPS Repair Center Manager for Europe to lead operational excellence of UPS repair activities and define the strategic business model across the region. The role combines day‑to‑day workshop management with the design of a scalable repair framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead repair operations and drive continuous improvement using Lean methodologies to ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality UPS services across European locations.
• Define and implement scalable business models, pricing frameworks and commercial processes aligned with the European service strategy.
• Collaborate with local sales organisations, supply chain, product management and customers to resolve complex escalations and ensure service excellence.
• Motivate and develop cross‑functional repair centre teams while ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and ABB core values.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in service operations, repair management or service business development, preferably in UPS or power electronics.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems, repair processes and power‑electronics lifecycle management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or equivalent technical education.
• Fluent in English and Italian; additional European languages are a plus.
