Veterinary Radiologist (Dipl. ACVR/ECVDI) – Thun

About the role

Join a leading Swiss veterinary clinic as a board‑certified radiologist, providing high‑quality imaging diagnostics for small animals in the heart of the Alps. You will work in a modern, well‑equipped environment alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Independently perform and interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound and radiography examinations.
• Develop and optimise radiology workflows and imaging protocols.
• Collaborate with surgery, internal medicine, neurology and emergency teams for case discussions.
• Supervise and train interns and junior veterinarians in diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain relationships with referring veterinarians and share expertise to grow the referral service.

Required profile

• Veterinary degree with Diplomate ACVR or ECVDI, or board‑eligible status.
• Strong communication skills, team‑player attitude and service orientation.
• Fluent in German or English.
• Passion for animal care and empathy towards owners.

Required skills

• Advanced imaging techniques: CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiography.
• Interpretation of diagnostic images and formulation of reports.
• Workflow optimisation and protocol development.
• Training and mentorship of junior staff.
