Vice President, Quality Management – Operations

About the role

The Vice President, Quality Management – Operations (VPQ) is a senior global quality leadership position reporting to the Global Head of Quality. The role is responsible for shaping and executing strategic quality plans across multiple business units and regions, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and corporate quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality strategies that support evolving business needs, customer expectations, and regulatory changes.
• Assess emerging product and field quality issues, provide executive recommendations, and drive corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with global partners.
• Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management function by developing talent, promoting certifications, and strengthening professional capabilities.
• Embed process‑management culture across Quality Management, ensuring integration with enterprise systems, supply‑chain processes, supplier quality, documentation, SAP, and Lean initiatives.
• Partner with Integrated Supply Chain owners to represent Quality priorities while supporting business strategies.
• Participate in executive Management Reviews to evaluate the efficiency of quality systems and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in global quality leadership within the medical technology or related manufacturing sector.
• Proven track record of leading quality teams across multiple sites and regions.
• Strong understanding of global regulatory standards and compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional business and compliance leaders.
