VIE – QMS & Quality Improvement Manager (Site)

About the role

Join Alstom's Site Quality team as a VIE focused on the deployment and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) at the site level. You will work closely with the Site QMS Manager, Site Quality Director and cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with internal standards and external requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support the deployment and governance of QMS processes on site.
• Participate in internal audits and assist with audit preparation, follow‑up actions and documentation.
• Monitor QMS‑related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report on performance.
• Maintain and update QMS documentation, ensuring proper communication of instructions.
• Assist in root‑cause analysis, corrective actions and problem‑solving activities.
• Coordinate process reviews and Quality Management Reviews with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Initial experience (internship or academic project) in Quality, Engineering or Operations.
• Understanding of QMS requirements such as ISO 9001 or IRIS.
• Interest in industrial or railway environments.
• Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven approach.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, team‑oriented setting.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
• Familiarity with IRIS quality management system.
• Experience with audit planning and execution.
• Use of quality tools (KPIs, root‑cause analysis, corrective actions).
