VP Institutional Sales – Switzerland

About the role

Lead the institutional business for AB in Switzerland, developing and executing a strategic plan to grow AUM and revenue across key client channels.

Key responsibilities

• Grow and manage a book of business, meeting agreed AUM and revenue targets.
• Map client and product landscape, identify priority clients and prospects, and set clear relationship goals.
• Integrate third‑party data into account planning and ensure accurate engagement records.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, consultant relations, business development, and product teams to deliver coordinated client solutions.
• Represent AB at senior client levels, industry conferences, and roadshows, driving prospecting and relationship expansion.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of investment management experience with a proven track record in institutional sales.
• Strong people‑management skills, able to inspire and lead sales talent.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities across diverse audiences.
• Fluent English; French or Italian a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced degree and relevant securities licenses.
• CFA designation or equivalent is a plus.
