WordPress and React Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled WordPress and React Developer to join a globally distributed engineering team. The role is fully remote and focuses on building high‑traffic WordPress themes and plugins while creating modern, interactive front‑end experiences with React.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve WordPress‑based products and React‑driven interfaces.
• Create and maintain scalable, performant, and secure WordPress themes and plugins.
• Build interactive front‑end features using React and modern JavaScript practices.
• Collaborate with a distributed team through Git‑based workflows and agile communication tools.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and propose elegant solutions to technical challenges.
• Ensure code quality by following PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress coding standards.
• Participate in enhancing product features, usability, and overall user experience.
• Stay up‑to‑date with modern web technologies and open‑source ecosystem trends.

Required profile

• Experienced full‑stack WordPress developer with strong front‑end expertise in React.
• Deep understanding of WordPress core architecture at the code level.
• Proven track record building custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Solid proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript (ES6).
• Hands‑on experience with React and modern front‑end workflows.
• Familiarity with jQuery and Git version control.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress coding standards and security best practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, agile environment.
