Workshop Technician – Cabin Installations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Technician specialized in aircraft cabin installations to join a short‑term project in Basel, Switzerland. The role involves fitting and refurbishing interior components on commercial aircraft as part of a fast‑paced refurbishment programme.

Key responsibilities

• Install and fit aircraft cabin interior components such as cabinets, seats, ceiling panels, décor panels, floorboards and window shades.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models to ensure accurate placement.
• Carry out fitting, adjustments and repairs inside the aircraft.
• Verify that all work complies with aviation quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• Cabinet maker, joiner or woodworking qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of aviation cabin installation experience.
• Strong woodworking and fitting skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and 3D models.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Reliable, quality‑focused and team‑oriented.
