Cluster Director of IT for Luxury Hotels

About the role

We are looking for a Cluster Director of IT to lead the technology strategy and operations for Mandarin Oriental Palace in Luzern and Mandarin Oriental Savoy in Zurich. The role ensures that all IT systems deliver seamless, secure, and high‑performance support for exceptional guest experiences and efficient hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all IT operations across both properties, ensuring system stability, security and performance.
• Leverage technology to enhance guest experience and optimise business processes.
• Maintain and support core hotel systems including Property Management Systems, POS, networks and telecommunications.
• Lead IT projects, system upgrades and new technology implementations.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and data protection regulations.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Provide technical support and training to staff across all departments.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all IT‑related matters within the hotels.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience as an IT Director or equivalent in a luxury hotel environment.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to identify technology solutions that drive guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and resolve issues at both local and global levels.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
