About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Operator specialized in the finishing of high‑value micro‑components for a renowned watch industry client. The role involves performing blocked polishing and black polishing to achieve flawless aesthetic standards required by luxury watchmaking.

Key responsibilities

• Independently block micro‑components on plates.
• Execute blocked polishing (black polishing) and surface finishing operations.
• Conduct aesthetic and dimensional self‑inspection using microscopes and measurement tools.
• Ensure flawless quality: no scratches, perfect flatness, mirror‑like effect.
• Wash components after blocking.
• Set up, adjust, and monitor production equipment (grinding, honing, polishing machines).
• Operate loading automation (robots).
• Maintain machines and oversee installation upkeep.
• Participate in continuous improvement of blocking processes.

Required profile

• Technical training (AFP, CFC or equivalent) or significant industrial experience.
• Experience in watch polishing, blocking or decoration is a strong advantage.
• Excellent dexterity and comfort handling micro‑components.
• Very good visual acuity and strong attention to detail.
• Meticulous, patient, precise, and capable of autonomous work.
• Organised, rigorous, and a team‑player.
• Proficient with industrial IT and production tools.
