Attorney Recruiter

About the role

The Attorney Recruiter drives the firm’s attorney hiring efforts through proactive sourcing, market engagement, and a best‑in‑class candidate experience. Working closely with HR Directors and firm leadership, this role builds pipelines and delivers high‑quality hires across offices and practice areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a proactive attorney recruiting strategy aligned with firm growth goals.
• Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand talent needs and practice‑group dynamics.
• Source and recruit top attorney talent, including passive candidates, via LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and market outreach.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates across key markets and practice areas.
• Screen, evaluate, and provide consultative recommendations to hiring managers.
• Establish relationships with law schools and support the Summer Associate pipeline.
• Track, analyze, and report recruiting metrics, pipeline activity, and hiring outcomes.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and innovative sourcing strategies.

Required profile

• Proven legal recruiting background with a track record of successful attorney hires.
• Exceptional relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ability to operate with urgency, consultative influence, and professionalism.
• Strong conflict‑management, planning, and priority‑setting capabilities.
