Account Executive – SMB Sales (Switzerland)

About the role

The Account Executive (SMB) will focus on building relationships with small and medium‑sized businesses in Switzerland, helping them understand how technology solutions can drive growth and operational efficiency. This role combines outbound prospecting, consultative selling, product demos, and strategic relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage a strong sales pipeline through outbound activities such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling.
• Build relationships with key decision‑makers and clearly communicate the value of solutions.
• Understand SMB challenges and provide tailored recommendations.
• Manage the full sales cycle from qualification to negotiation and closing.
• Maintain accurate activity tracking, opportunity management, and forecasting in CRM systems.
• Record sales outcomes, including win/loss reasons, to support continuous improvement.
• Develop long‑term customer relationships as a trusted technology advisor.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a high‑quality sales experience.

Required profile

• Approximately 6 months of experience in the recruitment industry or selling to recruitment‑related businesses.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Goal‑oriented problem‑solver with a focus on results.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple opportunities.
• Interest in consultative selling and helping businesses solve operational challenges.
• Motivation to develop sales skills through coaching and continuous learning.
