Account Manager Private Banking - Turkey (100%)

About the role

Julius Baer is hiring an Account Manager Private Banking (AM PB) for Turkey, a 100% position based in Geneva. Unlike the Relationship Manager, the AM PB does not have an own client book and works closely with the RM to support account administration, documentation and day-to-day client service. The role covers client administration, business management and risk and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate client documentation (client identification documents, account opening forms, legal forms) and clear operational account management, with system alerts resolved directly or via the RM
• Maintain client key data in CRM and other data sets in liaison with RMs, and take part in client meetings
• Support RMs and Group Heads with systems, applications, documents and calendars, prepare client meetings and business trips, and draft investment proposals and reports
• Manage internal projects affecting client relationships, share ideas to improve processes, and handle expense claims for RMs and Group Heads
• Help manage risk as part of the first line of defence, follow up issues and escalate when in doubt
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies, and document client interactions correctly in tools such as CRM and DiAS

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager, or 3 years as an ARM plus a job-related higher degree (e.g. Bachelor, CFA/AZEK/CAIA)
• Previous experience in Private Banking
• Proven track record in servicing banking clients with complex needs
• Successful completion of the internal AM PB training programme
• Excellent verbal and written English and Turkish

• Profound understanding of Private Banking products, services and tools
• Advanced knowledge of global financial markets and industry developments
