Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team in Geneva. The role offers the chance to manage core accounting processes in an international, multi-entity environment while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile daily bank transactions and cash movements.
• Maintain accounts receivable, including dunning, aging analysis and provisions.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and coordinate cross-charges between entities.
• Oversee fixed-asset accounting, including capitalisation and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements and contribute to finance-related projects.

Required profile

• Commercial background with training as an Accounting Specialist or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international or multi-entity setting.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting standards or comparable frameworks.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, solution-driven and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
