After Sales Service Engineer – Full-time Field Service

About the role

Synova, the inventor of Laser MicroJet® technology, is seeking a full‑time After Sales Service Engineer to install, commission and support its advanced laser‑water‑jet machines for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission new 3–5 axis machines across Europe and globally.
• Work in cleanroom or controlled environments when required.
• Respond quickly to customer service and maintenance requests.
• Identify and escalate recurring issues.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Provide remote support via phone, email and remote access tools.
• Conduct customer training sessions both internally and externally.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in field service (preferred).
• Technician or engineer background in electronics/automation with solid knowledge of the machine‑tool industry.
• Experience in laser technology or optics is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Versatile, autonomous, rigorous and highly communicative.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time.
• Fluent in French and English; German is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.
• Swiss nationality or a valid Swiss work permit.
• Ideally located along the Geneva–Lausanne corridor or close to the border for easy airport access.
