AI Software Engineer

About the role

Avaloq is seeking a highly skilled AI Software Engineer to join its AI Innovation Lab. You will lead AI experiments and transform cutting‑edge agentic AI concepts into production‑ready solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience across the banking sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead AI experiments from ideation through to production deployment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and implement agentic AI solutions.
• Develop advanced prompts, multi‑agent architectures, and supporting tools.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain LLM‑based solutions in production environments.
• Optimize AI solutions for performance, cost, and scalability.
• Stay current with the latest AI research, regulations, and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of full‑stack software development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of applied machine‑learning experience, including 2 years with large language models and agents.
• Strong analytical, coding, and debugging skills in Python.
• Proven track record of deploying and maintaining AI models in production.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
