Architect Charging Solutions

About the role

You will own the architecture of charging solutions for hearing devices, covering electronics, embedded software, mechanical interfaces and connectivity. You will define scalable platforms, guide development teams and suppliers, and turn complex requirements into robust, reusable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Take technical and architectural ownership of the Charging Solutions domain, setting priorities and supporting delivery.
• Design charging architectures that integrate electronics, embedded software and mechanical components.
• Define strategic, reusable platform elements and interfaces between chargers, hearing instruments, production and application software.
• Translate customer and stakeholder needs into balanced solutions regarding functionality, performance, cost and maintainability.
• Review schematics, software architecture and code, with 10‑20% hands‑on programming.
• Collaborate with external suppliers, evaluate their solutions and influence architectural decisions.
• Ensure compliance with medical‑device, cybersecurity and privacy requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems or related field.
• At least five years of professional experience in hardware and/or embedded software development, including charging solutions.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional technical groups and influence stakeholders and suppliers.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with professional fluency in English.
