About the role
The Assistant Manager at Izumi, the signature restaurant of Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva, supports the Restaurant Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the Restaurant Manager.
- Encourage, train, supervise and, when necessary, discipline the service team.
- Welcome guests warmly, escort them to their tables and ensure courteous interaction throughout their visit.
- Lead the dining room to ensure smooth flow, optimal seating and adherence to Four Seasons standards.
- Manage reservations and room occupancy efficiently, respecting quality criteria and operational procedures.
- Monitor hygiene practices and quality controls to guarantee compliance with brand standards.
Required profile
- Strong team spirit with the ability to coach and manage staff.
- Refined, elegant and warm personality that conveys empathy and generosity to guests.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
