Banking Application Specialist (Python/PHP/PostgreSQL)

About the role

Swissquote is looking for a Banking Application Specialist to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality banking software. You will work with Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL to support the bank’s digital platforms and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver new features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain applications using Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with product, business analysts, and stakeholders to define and ship new features.
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve code organization and automation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in banking operations and financial systems.
