Biology Teacher (Full‑time, Fixed‑term)

About the role

The school seeks a dedicated Biology Teacher to deliver high‑quality science education across secondary levels for the October 2026 – June 2027 academic year. You will join a multicultural faculty and contribute to a vibrant learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Biology lessons for lower secondary, IGCSE and DP programmes.
• Collaborate with curriculum leaders to select and manage teaching resources.
• Ensure health and safety standards are upheld in all classroom activities.
• Participate in staff development sessions, meetings and professional training.
• Organise and supervise field trips, excursions and extracurricular science activities.
• Promote a positive relationship between the science department and the wider school community.
• Support students’ academic and pastoral needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology and/or Qualified Teacher Status.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
• Proven ability to teach Biology at IB Diploma and IGCSE levels.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
• Capability to manage a diverse and demanding workload.
• Valid work permit or EU nationality.
